Spurred on by the fact that I haven't used this for over a year now, and intrigue as to whether anyone will actually read this I'm blogging again.
Not 100% what I'll end up writing but we'll see I guess...
For those who care Salisbury has changed little, as usual. Most of the pubs having not discovered that they can either apply for a late license, or being quite how I remembered through rose tinted glasses of my youth. Beer prices have gone up, and the chance of find a decent pint greatly diminished.
A site dedicated to the useless stuff I get up to and other musings. Most likely moaning about things, trying to keep fit and making cakes.

Too good a contradiction to pass up
Helpfully the electronic announcement on the train home suggested that "Large luggage should be stored in the luggage racks" located at the end of each of the carriages.
Seconds after followed by a reminder that "all personal belongings should be kept on your person".

Musings on greetings
What do you call your boss at work? Do you shake his hand when you see him? Do you shake a new acquaintance's hand?
When did the social revolution occur relaxing the formality of greetings? There must have been a time when suddenly the workforce stopped calling their boss sir?
Amusingly AA road patrols used to salute a car going past with an AA badge on their car. Not really related but amusing all the same.
